1. Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended for your convenience.  Regular mending and small alterations are absolutely welcome on a drop-in basis during our normal business hours.  For bridal and formal customers or custom work we recommend an appointment to ensure the best customer experience possible.  After hours appointments are also available by request.

You may request an appointment through our online form.

  2. When should I schedule my first appointment?

Brides should schedule their first appointment 2-3 months before their wedding date.  Bridesmaids and special occasion customers should schedule their first appointment 6-8 weeks before the date.  Rush jobs can be completed for an extra fee depending on availability at the time.  Please inquire for more details.

  3. What do I need to bring to my appointment?

You should bring your shoes and any special undergarments you will be wearing on the date as well as a deposit to start your work.  Deposits for bridal and large custom jobs are typically 50% of the estimated final service price.  Please contact us for an estimate.

  4. What kind of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, major credit cards, debit cards, email transfers and PayPal.  All prices are subject to 5% GST.

  5. How much are my alterations going to cost?

Because every gown and body type differs we only charge for the work that needs to be done and not a flat rate.  Steaming is included with most formal alterations.

For bridal, formal, and large custom projects a 50% deposit based on the estimated total service price is typically required.

Please call or email us to setup a FREE consultation with NO COST OR OBLIGATION to find out what you can plan on investing in your alterations.

  6. How many fittings should I allow for?

Most brides don't require more than 3 fittings.
